Fishing Shacks on a Maine Beach
Oil Pastel Artwork and Prints by Dominic White
This plein air oil pastel painting of the Willard Beach fishing shacks in South Portland, Maine was done on a bright sunny day in mid summer 2015. The shacks were built on what is known as Fisherman’s Point over 200 years ago and used to store fishing supplies for local fishermen. They are no longer in use but are maintained by The Willard Neighborhood Association and remain an important, and picturesque historical Maine landmark. What will you choose, tb500 dose ?
