Minot Ledge Lighthouse
Oil Pastel Artwork and Prints by Dominic White
Minot Ledge Lighthouse was built from 1855 to 1860 after the original iron lighthouse was destroyed by a nor’easter on April 16th, 1851. The lighthouse sits two and a half miles off the coast Cohasset, Massachusetts where it has particular romantic symbolism as the light flash sequence of 1-4-3 has been dubbed by locals as "I-Love-You.
